About Kathryn
Kathryn is a teacher of voice, movement and yoga, with more than three decades' experience.
Kathryn is a graduate of WAAPA and has taught at some of Australia's finest training institutions including NIDA, WAAPA, QUT and the Northern Rivers Conservatorium.
Kathryn has spent a lifetime honing her skills and continues to learn. She has been practising yoga for more than 40 years and teaching for more than 30 years. She consider yoga to be a transformative practice where we experience the bliss of embodiment, which naturally inspires stillness, self love, self care and healing.
Kathryn has also been sharing her voice work for many decades, and was a voice teacher at NIDA for six years in the 1990s.
From decades of teaching and sharing Mantra and ongoing training with wonderful teachers, she has gathered many accessible, effective and fun practices that support the health and beauty of our voices.
Mantra singing offers an exquisite space to allow us to sing our prayers, to sing our love for life, to dissolve negativity, and to ignite our divinity. Her yoga and voice training to date includes:
Kathryn is a poet and an author, and has published two books – "Under My Skin" (Flamingo) and "Yoga for the Body, Mind, Breath and Baby" (ABC books).
Today, Kathryn lives in Uki, New South Wales and teaches yoga in the Northern Rivers region. She also travels to Bali several times a year for her acclaimed retreats.

- Yoga teacher training with Eve Grzbowski and Mardi Kendall at the Sydney Yoga Centre, where Kathryn also taught.
- Studying yoga in India.
- Training in voice and movement with Pan Theatre in Paris.
- Completion of an advanced teacher-training course with internationally-recognised yoga teacher Donna Farhi.
- Participation in many Body-Mind Centering® workshops withAlice Cummins.
